Scruff Magazine caters to hip, savvy, outgoing individuals who care about living college life to the fullest. Scruff brings people, places and trends together in a fun, stylish and humorous approach. Each issue of Scruff Magazine is coveted among the residents of Isla Vista as well as the Santa Barbara area. Launched in 2008, Scruff Magazine is the super cool lifestyle publication within the college marketplace.
Known for its beautiful photography, witty and engaging editorial and cutting-edge articles, Scruff Magazine continues to set the highest standards in college lifestyle publishing.
OUR AUDIENCE
Our readers not only have powerful spending habits, they will be the next generation to buys cars, clothing, accessories, furniture, vacations, sporting goods, food/beverage and more. Scruff Magazine will have an influential readership: they are all in college students and lead very aspirational lives.
CREATING A BRANDED EXPERIENCE
Let’s face it. It’s great when everyone is at an event and your product or banner is front and center. But after the event has faded and everyone has gone home, we continue to keep a dialogue with our audience as we publish event photos of our activities and contest winners. We maintain coverage in the social networking scene by keeping up appearances in FaceBook and MySpace as well as keeping our site up-to-date with all of our event coverage and content from the magazine as well.

Scruff entertainment will produce numerous events on and around the campus so students can get comfortable with our brand. We can extend that branded experience with our own Spring Break trips to Mammoth Mountain, Tahoe and Lake Shasta. We will also offer our own line or thought provoking apparel available through our website. Plus, we will support student films by putting together a student film competition with one of the major Hollywood studios. It’s going to be a fun year, hop on.

Who the hell is Scruff?
Okay, okay, we’re just a bunch of college kids. But we have a passion for telling stories and making things happen on and around our campus. We want to add value and memories to the college experience and let’s face it... we want to be famous. Our staff consists of writers, photographers, videographers, journalists, interviewers, party producers, event coordinators and stage personalities.
